Sweet 16

Happy Birthday to our sweet Ellory! Elly Belly! Peach Pie! Elle!

We love you and can’t imagine what we did to deserve you in our family. We appreciate your sense of humor, lovely voice, creative streak, servant heart and determined spirit. Beautiful and fun too!

She is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither– whatever they do prospers. — Psalm 1:3 (NIV)

Hosting the Holidays

Puzzles, fruitcakes, family dinners, our annual boys vs. girls gingerbread house contest, cuddles, giggles, games, empanadas, Christmas Eve under the tree, a New Year’s all-nighter and lots of love. We were thrilled to have Kim’s parents from Indiana and Mariela from Papua New Guinea during the Christmas season.

No Greater Joy

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth. 3 John 1:4 (NIV)

The timing was perfect. We enjoyed a sweet, happy time with both sets of grandparents, our friend Gui and Mariela when Silas proclaimed faith in Jesus and was baptized at the SWBTS chapel!

Praise the Lord!

Elly’s Wild West Adventure

Ellory enjoyed a trip westward with her grandparents in October when her Grandpa Odell preached in Nevada. Along the way, they stopped at Arches National Park, Badlands National Park, the Salt Lake City Temple, Black Hills National Forest and Mount Rushmore National Monument. The trio made many sweet memories, enjoyed the views and visited with several wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.
